Cookie Policy

What cookies and similar technologies this website uses, why, and how to manage your preferences.

Last updated: 14 August 2026

This page documents the cookies and similar technologies actually used by this website at the time of writing. It will be updated if that changes — for example, if an analytics tool is added in future.

1. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies — such as your browser's local storage — serve comparable purposes: remembering information between visits or between pages. This Policy uses "cookies" to refer to both, in line with common practice.

2. Necessary Cookies

These are required for the website to function and cannot be switched off. They are not used for tracking or advertising.

NameTypePurposeDuration
mx_cookie_consent Browser local storage (first-party) Remembers your cookie-preference choice (necessary/analytics/marketing) so the banner does not reappear on every visit. Persistent, until you clear it via "Cookie Settings" or your browser settings.

3. Analytics Cookies

No analytics or audience-measurement service is currently active on this website. This category exists in our cookie-preference tool, disabled by default, so that if we introduce an analytics service in future (for example, to understand which pages are most useful to visitors), it can only run for visitors who have explicitly opted in. This section will be updated with the specific cookies used if and when that happens.

4. Marketing Cookies

This category currently governs one piece of third-party content: the Google Maps embed on our Contact page, showing our office location. The map is not loaded until you accept marketing cookies (or click "Load Map" directly on that embed). Once loaded, Google may set its own cookies on your device under its own privacy terms, which are outside our control; see Google's own documentation for details of what it sets.

5. Third-Party Cookies

This website loads typefaces (Space Grotesk, Inter, JetBrains Mono) from Google Fonts' content delivery network to render text consistently. Loading a font this way involves your browser making a request to Google's servers, which may receive your IP address as a technical consequence of that request; Google Fonts does not set tracking cookies for this purpose. We treat font delivery as part of the necessary technical operation of the page, since it directly affects how the site displays.

Beyond fonts, the only other third-party content is the Google Maps embed described in Section 4, which is consent-gated.

6. Cookie Duration

The table in Section 2 lists the duration of the necessary storage item we use. We do not currently set any session-only or long-lived tracking cookies. If analytics or additional marketing tools are introduced, their typical duration will be documented here and reflected in the preferences modal.

7. How to Change Your Preferences

You can review or change your cookie choices at any time:

  • Click "Cookie Settings" in the footer of any page to reopen the preferences panel.
  • Use your browser's own settings to block or delete cookies and local storage — note that this may affect how the site functions.
